WHOLE SCHOOL FOCUS
The Whole school focus theme for this year is ‘COME HOLY SPIRIT’.
This term at Mother Teresa School we will use the theme that: We are called to Dream.
“Don't be afraid to dream big because we have a big God who can do all things. It is only through God's power that we can accomplish all the dreams he has put in our hearts.” Matthew 19:26
Our value next two weeks is: LOVE we do this ‘The Mother Teresa School Way by’:
- You value close relationships with others and being close to people.
- When you’re with other people, you are present and give them your full attention.
- You deliberately work to identify and appreciate others’ character strengths.
- Everything you say and do can affect others – and your relationships with them.
- When other people succeed, you are happy for them and cheer them on.
- When other people are struggling, you do your best to help them out.
THANK YOU
Thank you to 4 Violet, 4 Magenta, and their teachers for the wonderful Prayer Focus on 'Forgiveness'. The scripture choices resonated deeply with our need for forgiveness in life and our willingness to forgive others. The prayers were heartfelt and sincere, reflecting a genuine call for forgiveness. The students' rendition of the song 'Forgiveness' was beautifully sung. Special thanks to the parents and friends who joined us to offer their support.

23 June 2024 - Year B
“Who can this be? Even the wind
and the sea obey him.”
Something to Think About
Can you remember the last time there was a storm? Imagine if you were on a boat in the middle of a lake in the middle of a storm. Imagine what it would be like to feel the wind blowing and the waves crashing against the boat.
The Story
Today’s gospel is a great rescue story! The disciples were caught in a storm and Jesus saved them.
Jesus told the wind and the waves to be still and they obeyed immediately.
Jesus wondered why the disciples had been so afraid and he told them to have faith.
