The Whole school focus theme for this JUBILEE 2025 year is ‘PILGRIMS OF HOPE’
This term ‘The Mother Teresa School Way’ is to be:
Companions on the Journey: Caring, Supporting, and Growing Together.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

PRAYER FOCUS

Thank you to Kinder Scarlet and Rose, along with Mrs Fraser, Ms Higgins, and Ms Sadler — for a beautiful and thoughtful Prayer Focus on Fairness. The message was brought to life through the Gospel and the story of The Little Red Hen, offering a meaningful and relatable way for our young learners to reflect on fairness in their own lives. ‘Treat others the way you would like to be treated.’

This simple yet powerful rule teaches us how to live fairly and kindly with one another. When we are treated fairly, we feel happy, respected, and safe. Fairness creates a space where everyone feels valued and included — essential for a joyful classroom, a fun playground, and a caring school community. Thank you to the parents who came along to support the students.

CONFIRMATION 2025

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Tuesday night to support our Year 6 Confirmation candidates. Your presence made the evening even more special for our students and their families. We extend our sincere gratitude to Archbishop Christopher Prowse for leading us in such a beautiful and prayerful ceremony—one we will remember fondly. Our thanks also go to Fr Eden for his spiritual guidance and continued support, and to our dedicated Year 6 teachers for preparing the students with such care and commitment. A special thank you to Leisa, our talented piano teacher, whose beautiful accompaniment brought a unique and moving touch to the celebration.

To the parents and carers—thank you for the love, encouragement, and guidance you have given your children on their faith journey. Your role in nurturing their spiritual growth is invaluable, and we are so grateful for your support. It was truly a memorable and faith-filled evening for our entire school community.

Something to Think

About God is a mystery. We cannot explain God with words or pictures, but we can talk about what God is like. What is God like for you? Maybe like a friend who listens to you. Maybe like a mother who cares for you. Maybe like a father who fixes things for you. Maybe God is like the ocean which is powerful.

The Story

Jesus promised his disciples that even after he had gone to heaven, the Holy Spirit would come and keep on helping them. Jesus says the same to us: The Spirit helps us by showing us what is true and by telling Jesus’ message to us. On Trinity Sunday we remember that God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This reading from John’s gospel includes each of these three parts of the Trinity. See if you can listen out for each.
