TERM FOUR

This term, our Whole School Focus is Pilgrimage as Transformation – Taking Risks and Living with Hope. As we journey together through Term 4, we are reminded that life is a pilgrimage - a journey of faith, growth and transformation. Our focus encourages students to take positive risks, try new things and place their trust in God’s plan for them. We will explore ways we can live this message through peace, service, giving and thankfulness, especially as we prepare for the Advent season.

Our guiding scripture for this term is: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

— Romans 15:13

OCTOBER - THE MONTH OF THE HOLY ROSARY

RE_2.png

Each year, the month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. The word rosary comes from Latin and means “a garland of roses,” with the rose being a traditional symbol of Mary, the Mother of Jesus.

The Rosary is one of the most recognised symbols of the Catholic faith and we pray the Rosary to Mary because she is the Mother of God and her prayers are powerful (John 2:1–11). Each time we pray the Hail Mary, we are both worshipping God and honouring Mary for her love, faith and trust in God’s plan.

Weekend Mass times
Saturday – 5:00pm.
Sunday – 8:00am, 9:30am and 5:00pm.

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can all do small things with great love.”
