Pink Day Friday 24 October
Next Friday, to mark awareness for breast cancer, the children are encouraged to were something pink. It is an awareness day; no money required.
Principal Leadership Days
Next Thursday and Friday I will be attending our Archdiocesan Catholic Leadership Days in preparation for planning for the 2026 school year. In my absence please direct any immediate concerns to Mr Craig Hart.
Morning Drop off and Pick up
Please avoid the slip lane at the front of the school when dropping off and picking up  children who attend the school - Kinder to Year 6. The slip lane is for preschool families during peak times of drop off and pick up times. Please get into the habit of using the basketball courts to keep the traffic flowing.
When possible I will supervise the front car park to redirect traffic. While I know it is tempting, please do not stop in the front car park drive thru to drop off child in the morning. This is a major safety issue and for an extra few minutues we can keep all children safe.
Please consider dispalying your family name as you drive thru the pick up area. I will send out the link to families so you can order the sunvisor display unit.
Boorowa 2025
Next Friday we have 63 Year 5 & 6 students attend the Boorowa Netball and Touch Carnival. It will be a big day with families. We have a number of teachers assisting  with supervision on the day (Catherine Blackwell, Matt Moore, Fiona Matchett,
Lauren Maher, Ali O'Brien, Gemma Francis) and many parents helping with coaching, managing and umpiring. Thanks you to Mrs Kate O'Keefe for all her organisation behind the scene.
Lots of Talent

Linuki Mendis, who is in Year 3 Sapphire, is performing in a Sri Lankan traditional dance show at the Canberra Theatre on 25 October 2025. This event is very special as it is staged once every three years and serves as a fantastic celebration of culture and performance. Wishing Linuko all the very best for the performance.

Enjoy your week ahead.
